Inspired by a local frosty field from my sunny winter dog walk this morning, today’s painting is a soft and beginner-friendly winter landscape - simple, calming, and full of that quiet morning magic.
A sky tinted with pale pink and warm yellow glows above the field, and the icy ground below reflects those gentle colours. Scattered green and brown grasses break up the snowy texture, adding little touches of realism.
In the foreground, tall dark grasses cast long shadows and frame the scene beautifully, capturing that fleeting moment where winter chill meets morning light. A peaceful pause in time.
