Daily Art Challenge - Day 268 of 365 - 23rd Nov 2025
Wow… I am struggling to get through these last few days of November inspiration-wise! I think I’m just desperate to dive head-first into full Christmas mode — but if I start too early, I know I’ll burn out before the 25th.
So today, I went back to one of my favourite things to paint: a fantasy forest. I’m so used to creating them in lush greens or choosing a single vibrant colour and building a magical world from it. But this time, I challenged myself to paint a frosty winter version — still magical, still whimsical, but with that chilled, sparkling atmosphere of the season creeping in.
I think I pulled it off…

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
