Daily Art Challenge - Day 277 of 365 - 2nd Dec 2025
Today’s painting began with a single glimmer - that magical moment when a Christmas tree light catches a bauble just right, and for a heartbeat it feels like the whole world is glowing.
So for Day 277, I painted a bright red Christmas bauble, polished to a soft shimmer, hanging quietly on a pine branch. Behind it, the forest fades into hints of deep green needles, as if this little ornament has been discovered on a tree deep within Faefern Forest rather than inside a cosy living room.
Yellow fairy lights glow like tiny fireflies, while cool blue lights sparkle like winter frost - together creating that perfect balance of warmth and crisp December magic.
Sometimes the smallest decorations hold the biggest stories. Maybe this bauble was placed here by a wandering elf… or maybe it simply appeared, a little gift from the forest itself.
Either way, it made the whole canvas feel alive.
