Daily Art Challenge - Day 18 of 365 - 18th March 2025
Today’s painting was inspired by a forest path on an overcast day, where a beautiful beech tree, still clinging to its rusty orange leaves, stood out against the muted woodland.
At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to capture the mood of this moment—but as I painted, a pastel realm began to appear under my brush, transforming into yet another fantasy fairy forest.
It’s amazing how sometimes the magic reveals itself as you paint. Do you ever start a creative project with one idea, only to be surprised by where it takes you?
