Daily Art Challenge - Day 195 of 365 - 11th Sept 2025
Today I finally tackled something I’ve been wanting to paint for the longest time — a magical fairy lantern.
Hanging from the branch of an old twisted tree, the lantern glows with a warm golden light, spilling brightness into the cool blues and greens of the forest beyond. The Victorian-style frame catches the glow, almost alive with enchantment.
And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a flutter of fairies clustering around the lamp, drawn to its magic like moths to a flame.
This one felt like painting a little beacon of wonder in the dark.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
