Daily Art Challenge - Day 207 of 365 - 23rd Sept 2025
I couldn’t resist painting the third little red-cap from the Mushwood Gang today!
There will be plenty more of these whimsical characters to come — but first, I need a little time to research more fungi and sketch out how the rest of the gang will look. For now, meet this squat, chubby fellow whose cap is squished flat under the weight of his best friend: a cheerful little snail who loves to hitch a ride!
In his hands, he clutches a berry — a sweet snack he’ll happily share with his snail companion (who I’ve decided to name Muddle, since he’s always slowly muddling along).
Another magical Mushwood mini for the collection, and I’m already excited to dream up the next!
