Daily Art Challenge - Day 208 of 365 - 24th Sept 2025
This morning I woke up to a request to paint a fairy house in a magical forest, and I suddenly realised… I’ve never actually painted a standalone fairy cottage!
Yes, I’ve painted enchanted trees with doors and windows, and stumps that fairies have turned into homes — but never a little cottage all of its own. So today, that’s exactly what I did, and I absolutely love how it turned out!
A slate roof, a stone chimney, and round windows make this tiny house feel so cosy. It’s perched on a mossy knoll, with a set of wonky stone steps leading up to the door.
And of course, no fairy dwelling is complete without a string of glowing lights hanging between two trees, illuminating the path to its magical home.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
